On Tuesday evening 7th June, Richmond and Leyburn Branch, Darlington and Darlington Young Embroiderers hosted an excellent Preview Evening in the Garden Rooms at Tennants, Leyburn, which launched our Capability Brown 300th Anniversary Exhibition, ‘Landscapes and Gardens’. Val Hepworth of The Yorkshire Gardens Trust was our speaker and talked us through the life of Capability Brown and his Yorkshire Gardens.
Tennants seem delighted with our exhibition, speaking highly our embroideries, and since the preview evening, enjoying a continuous and steady flow of visitors to the exhibition who have bothered to take the time to write fabulous comments in our exhibition visitors book.
